Back in our grandparents and our great-grandparents day, it was common to set aside one calf for the family a year. We are bringing this concept to you, without needing to buy the land, brave the rain and the cold, fix fences, learn about cattle, or purchase the equipment needed to sustain a cattle operation. Just one cow ready for you to enjoy, without any of the hard work..
Your whole cow purchase pays for:
The $1500.00 is a non-refundable deposit, the remainder is calculated at the end of the finishing period.
Final payment is Total Live Weight Pounds times $3.25* - $1500.00 non-refundable deposit + Delivery Fee to processing plant of your choice.

There are many calculations to determine an estimated carcass to meat yield, basically a 1250 cow will approximately yield 500 to 550 lbs of meat. This also depends if you are interested in organ meat, beef bones, and other uncommon cuts.
We deliver a live cow to the Processing Plant, you must arrange deposit, payment and harvest (slaughter fee) directly to the processing plant. They will want to know the types of cuts you will want. Since this is your cow, remember every part is fair game! Fido may enjoy some Steak on the Hoof, or just a Hoof too! Those Expensive Cow Hides in stores? Check with your Processor for those too. Most butchers include other services as add on's such as sausage, jerky, you get to choose it all, so don't limit yourself.
You will arrange pick up or delivery of your personally processed meat with the Processing Plant.
Absolutely! Our services can be adjusted to fit your needs. Like a certain breed? Have an FFA Calf? All we ask is that you contact us to discuss logistics. Considerations include length of time to properly finish, we estimate 100 days, but that also depends on the age and health of the cow when received. We would also possibly require a quarantine period, and/or vaccinations if proper documentation cannot be provided.
With our Cow Sharing Program, we can match you with other buyers to "Share" a cow. While this may help the pocket book cost of finishing a whole cow, there are some limitations. The cow cannot be divided among processing plants, and your meat will be limited on your cuts and quantities. For example, you can't just take all the steaks and let the other buyer have just hamburgers! The Cuts and yields will be split down the middle. Nose to Tail, so both buyers have equal sharing and equal benefit opportunity.
We operate out of great state of Texas. Texas Born and Texas Raised!
Of Course! Your cow will be finished and must be delivered to a local USDA Processing Plant, where you will pay their Kill Fee, Deposit Fee, and Processing fee. Since it is your cow, your meat, you can work with the Processing Plant to find the most economical way to deliver your USDA inspected meat.
