Our Managed Cattle Finishing Services:
· Weaning:
o When your order is placed and deposit paid, our Foreman begins the calf selection process based on birth dates, calf size, calf health, and approximate finishing month.
o Your calf is matched to you.
o The calf is separated from its momma, ear tagged, wormed, and weighed
o Weaned calves are brought to the weaning pasture, where they are monitored twice daily
o Weaning Calf Nutrition plan for 15 to 30 days from weaning
- Never treated with antibiotics or added hormones
· Daily:
o Fully weaned calves enjoy:
- Nutritionally balanced dietary plan
- Our feeding formula ensures healthy weight gain of both marble and muscle
- Fresh water from our wells, ponds, and natural springs
- Spacious pastures and room to roam
· Monthly:
- Your calf will be weighed to monitor gain in order to make adjustments based on the needs of your calf
- Health assessment
